Fans de Britney Spears: Ventas de Lady Gaga son un fraude

Luego de conocerse que Lady Gaga vendió 1,110,420 copias de su disco "Born This Way" en la primera semana, los fans de Britney Spears comenzaron a cuestionarlo como fraude.

Se basan en varios puntos: La efectiva campaña de marketing que incluyo la venta del disco a solo $ 0.99 en Amazon, que incluso hizo colapsar el portal debido a la alta demanda; y los acuerdos de Lady Gaga con Best Buy y Starbucks que practicamente regalaban el CD.

Los fans reclaman a Billboard que no considere esta clase de promociones que devaluan el precio del CD al momento de hacer el conteo. Para ellos, si se comparan las ventas a precio normal de "Femme Fatal" y "Born this Way", el de Britney saldria ganando.

Al final, tengan o no razón, la estrategia de Gaga funcionó haciendo que su disco no solo sea Numero uno en USA, sino tambien en el Reino Unido, vendiendo cerca de 215,000 copias.

This device combines – smart phone (with video calling), camera, GPS, mp3 player,
storage (for photos, files etc.), time/date/calendar, games, app’s and much more.

The PCOD would also come with changeable holder/straps in various colors and designs -
and the screen wallpaper can be changed to match the chosen holder.

This would be the default screen (above), showing the time, date, network connection icons, first two chosen app’s, and the keypad button. All of this UI would be configurable to whatever the owner prefers. For example – the user could choose which two app’s show first (more app’s are available by scrolling up or down), and the keypad button/icon could be changed for something else like favorite contacts etc.

David Archuleta asistió al KIIS FM's Idol Viewing Party en el L.A. Live Regal Cinema, luego del show de la Final de la temporada 10 de American Idol (ver nota).

Con un retraso en el programa, pactado para las 8:00pm, el público que se encontraba en el Nokia Teather se dirigió a las fiestas privadas cercanas para disfutar de la noche y compartir la experiencia. La fiesta mas grande tenía a David Archuleta cantando y compartiendo su talento con los asistentes.

It was May 21, 2011 and we had a rapturous time. May 22nd too.
IT WAS WIZARD WORLD/BIG APPLE COMIC CON!
We were surrounded by Superheroes in Spandex and Comic-book Artists in their element, yet there we were with our television puppets from so many childhoods.
And the response was ecstatic!
So (so) many people would spot us - - look away -- look back and go OH MY GOD!!! as the memories of long ago flash-flooded to the forefront of their present.

See TITO SWING on my right? I had him positioned so that as folks would notice him he would wink at them. You should've seen the double takes!
Some people were crazy for the Juke Box Band from SHINING TIME STATION. DJ KAT pulled a strong response too. Others went weepy for PINWHEEL. Bobby Moynihan from Saturday Night Live stopped by to say hello to the Hobo Bugs he watched as a kid. (He took a picture with the puppets. I asked him to e it to me and if he does I'll post it. Bobby was terrific!)

We were also visited by fellow puppeteer James Wojtal. . .
A great experience. To have planted our imaginations into so many young minds and to have had it take root was a wonderful confirmation. The puppets (who have aged far less than the rest of us!) could not have been happier!
We are so looking forward to launching our next puppet project. Stay tooned.
